When it comes to strength and durability, the Camel’s debris body is second to none!

Camel TankSuper Products knows that when the pressure is on a strong body is critical. That’s exactly why we build the Camel debris body using a cylindrical design and ¼-inch steel, making it the strongest and most durable on the market today. In fact, we’re so confident in the strength of our debris body, which can withstand 367" H2O (28"hg.) vacuum pressure, we even back it with a full 10-year warranty.

As a result of using ¼-inch steel, the Camel’s debris body is 33 percent thicker than the 3/16-inch steel bodies other manufacturers use. The extra thickness of the Camel body can be a big advantage over time. While 3/16-inch steel may initially be strong enough on a new unit, problems can arise when wear begins and the thickness is reduced. And with the high vacuum levels achieved utilizing a positive displacement vacuum system, the 3/16-inch steel tank is prone to damage once the wear factor kicks in and catastrophic failure can occur.

Coupled with its ¼-inch steel construction, the Camel’s debris body features a cylindrical design for even greater strength and durability. By its nature, a cylindrical shell is structurally stronger than a rectangular shell. That’s because the cylindrical shell doesn’t allow for material flexing whereas a rectangular shell with external ribbing does have flex under full vacuum, which eventually fatigues the metal and after prolonged use results in cracking and can cause the same type of failure as seen below. So if you are looking for a combination unit with a tank for long lasting life and a warranty to guarantee it, look no further than our Camel sewer and catch basin cleaners.
